Casino Nights

Events feature up to five casino-type games, such as craps, roulette and black jack under a one-day license.

How to Conduct a Casino Night in NYS

  • File an Application for Registration and Identification Number (Form 1A) with the Commission obtain a Games of Chance ID.
  • File Form GC-2, Form GC-2A and Form GC-2B with the municipal clerk with a payment for $25 per licensed period.
  • The clerk includes their findings and determination on Form GC-4 and issues the license on Form GC-5.
  • Profits must be deposited into a special games of chance checking account the next business day after each licensed period.
  • Organizations must file Form GC-7 and Form GC-7B with the municipal clerk within seven days after each licensed period, accompanied by an additional license fee equal to five percent of the net profits, payable to the municipality or county fiscal officer.
  • No more than twelve license periods can be conducted per calendar year. 

Municipalities

On or before the 30th day of each month, the treasurer of the municipality must transmit $15 of all license fees per license period to the New York State Comptroller.
