SEQR & Commercial Casino Applicants
Per the New York Gaming Facility Location Board's Request for Applications to Develop and Operate a Gaming Facility in New York State:
Applicants for a commercial casino were required to complete all entitlement processes, including environmental reviews required under the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQR) before September 30, 2025. SEQR identifies any potential adverse environmental effects of proposed actions, assesses their significance, and propose measures to eliminate or mitigate significant impacts.

The Gaming Commission served as the Lead Agency for the following proposed projects where the City of New York or a properly qualified local agency has not sought such designation. Each link contains the project's Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), which includes the Draft EIS and Final EIS, along with any relevant notices or updates.
