Overview
The Freedom of Information Law (Public Officers Law, Article 6) (FOIL) grants members of the public access to the records of government in accordance with its provisions. Request Records
FOIL requests must be made in writing to the Commission’s Records Access Officer and may be submitted online via the below button to the Records Access Center, via mail, in-person delivery or fax. Please be as specific as possible in describing the records sought.
Many Gaming Commission datasets and statistics are available on New York State’s Open Data Portal – data.ny.gov.

Right to Appeal
To the extent you believe you have been denied access to a record by the Gaming Commission, you have thirty (30) days from the date of the determination to make a written appeal. You may make an appeal in writing by email or mail:
